Fathers Day

Its that day we treat our Dads again!
Father's Day.
I don't get to make my Dad a card ........ long story........
I always made my Grandfather a card as he raised me.
We always took him out for lunch if he was willing .....
Always got him something for the garden as he LOVED his garden !

So now I get to make cards for the Children for Daddy !
Here is the card I made for Isabella for her Dad.
Its made using Heartfelt Creations Papers, stamps and sentiments.
Check out their web page, you can find all their social media too from there !!

Heartfelt Creations

Have a great Father's Day !! Make sure you hug your Dad and
spoil him, I wish I could mine. I know some of us have lost our parents,
remember them fondly, think of the good times and smile.

I had to smile at the wording on the inner of the card
Enjoy the Journey ......... well Isabella is in her terrible 2's
so the journey is quite interesting at the moment !!!! hehe

Right , well it took me two days to make this with my hand and wrist being bad
but I had to try to see how my hand would hold up !!
Now resting it for a few days again !
Don't panic this should only take and hour tops to make !!!

To make the card I used the following:
HCDP1 242 Celebrate the journey paper pad
HCPC 3568 Moments with you PreCut set
HCD 736 Classic leaf die
HCPC 3545 Open Leaf PreCut set
459222 Paper Blossoms Tools
452255 Grand Calibur
HCD 734 Sunkissed Fleur Die
HCPC 3533 Sunkissed Fleur PreCut set

Other items: White card, glitter glue, pearl gems, photo

I cut a 6" x 6" card from white card stock.
I cut a card front from the paper pad and  cut the layers within it
adhering 3D Foam and 3D glue to gain the different heights.
Glittere glued all the edges and added a photo into the centre
of the card. Stamp, ink and shape the leaves.
Stamp, ink, shape, glitter and add pearl gems to the flowers.
Stamp the sentiment, ink the edges and glitter.
Adhere the flowers, leaves and sentiment to the front.
Cut 2 6"x 6" pieces of paper and adhere to the insides of the card.
Cut another card front and cut it down so it fits within
the inside of the card. Adhere with 3D foam pads.
Cut a piece of cream card to sit within the centre square
of the card front so you can write your message.
Adhere a flower and leaves to the inner and your card is complete.

Happy Crafting !
